La Muse Goods is a female owned and operated vintage and secondhand shop founded in 2021. Each piece is thoughtfully hand-picked to create a highly curated and sustainable collection of goods.

 

THE MEANING OF LA MUSE

La Muse, translated from French to The Muse, is the concept of finding the beauty, art, and inspiration within oneself. We hope that when you shop with us, you find pieces you love that make you feel like the muse you are.

 

SUSTAINABILITY

Here at La Muse, our mission is to offer you a shopping experience you can feel good about. When you buy vintage / secondhand, you’re choosing to give new life to what already exists — and saving it from an ending that is damaging to our planet. We hope to bring awareness to sustainable fashion and give all of our customers an alternative to the fast fashion industry that is wreaking havic on Mother Earth.

 

PACKAGING / SHIPPING

We currently use EcoEnclose recycled poly mailers to package your orders. They are made with 100% recycled content and are recyclable. These mailers are a #4 plastic — which means they can’t be recycled in a single stream recycling plant, because the flimsy material can get caught up in their sorting equipment. You would recycle our mailers the same way you would recycle grocery bags: typically by taking them to a local grocery store that participates in the collecting and recycling of these plastics. If you don’t know what stores near you participate, head to www.plasticfilmrecycling.org and enter your zip code to figure out where you can recycle our poly mailers, and any other plastic bags you may have. 

EcoEnclose also offers an exciting new Plastic Film Take Back Program — where you can simply stuff the EcoEnclose poly mailer we shipped to you full of other plastic film you may have in your home (like grocery bags) and send it back to EcoEnclose!
